Robert V. Tessaro, Founder & President
Robert V. Tessaro is the founder and President of Safe School Technologies, and is a recognized expert on youth violence prevention. Previously, Robert was the National Law Enforcement Director of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, where he worked with leading law enforcement executives and members of Congress to support common-sense legislation to prevent gun violence. He has served as National Membership Director of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids and Executive Director of the New Jersey Association of School Resource Officers. He is a member of several law enforcement executive organizations, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police where he serves as a member of their firearms and juvenile justice committees. Robert was an invited participant at the White House Conference on School Safety led by President George W. Bush.  He also recently participated in a private meeting with President Barack Obama at the White House to discuss gun violence among our nation's youth. Robert has his B.A. from Tulane University, and did his graduate work at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he studied technology in crime prevention.
Christopher Saunders, Chief Technology Advisor
Christopher Saunders has been with Safe School Technologies since its inception. A veteran of the online marketing space, Christopher got his start in the industry first by following Internet marketing start-ups as a journalist and analyst, and later in advising early-stage tech companies as a marketing consultant. Since then, he has been instrumental in bringing a number of emerging consumer and business-to-business technology brands to market.
Robert T. Tessaro : Legal Counsel/Education Law Advisor
Robert T. Tessaro, Esq. has practiced law in New Jersey for almost 40 years specializing in education law. He has represented several school districts and has taught at the graduate level as an adjunct professor of school law. He has lectured extensively on education/ law enforcement issues at conferences in New Jersey and nationally. He also has served as a prosecutor and as a Municipal Court Judge.
Victor Truscelli, Education Advisor
Victor L. Truscelli has over 30 years of experience in education as a school counselor. He is currently the Lead Counselor and Program Coordinator for Bergen County Academies, Hackensack, NJ. He is a past President of the Bergen County School Counselor Association, and is a Member of the Executive Board, New Jersey School Counselor Association. He is also a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and NJACAC, American School Counselor Association (ASCA). He has a Master 's degrees in School Counseling and Educational Administration and is a certified substance abuse counselor.
Joe Weedon
Joe Weedon has over a decade of experience in state, local and federal government relations.  Weedon has spent the majority of his career as a lobbyist/advocate for at-risk youth and families and as an advocate for the law enforcement community.  He currently serves as the Executive Director for Defeat Poverty DC, a non-profit organization working to reduce poverty in our nation's capitol.  Joe holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland – College Park. He earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
